Our Bay Area Photo BOoth Evolution

Booth By The Bay is a family-run photo booth company based in Pacifica, CA, founded by Eli Poblitz. Eli runs the business with his two sons (ages 20 and 17) as well as a few other staff members who are like family.

Booth By The Bay has well over 10 years of photo booth experience in the photo booth industry. Our team knows how to show up prepared, blend in seamlessly, and deliver unforgettable experiences.

A bit more about Eli

Eli fell in love with his DSLR camera back in 2005. He taught himself how to create immersive 360-degree panoramas and launched his first company, Bay Area VR. Long before Google introduced Street View, Eli was already bringing spaces to life through interactive photography.

His client list included major names like the SF Giants, Cisco Systems, Castello di Amorosa Winery, Claremont Hotel, Learn iT! Tech School, Oceano Half Moon Bay, UCLA, and XOJET. He also collaborated with some of San Francisco’s top-performing real estate agents to showcase luxury properties through virtual tours.

Though a full-time career in Special Education eventually took priority, Eli’s passion for photography and entrepreneurship never faded. That passion inspired him to found Booth By The Bay, offering photo booth services to the Coastside community.

His dream was simple: to one day build something with his two sons. Today, that dream is alive and thriving. As of 2025, Booth By The Bay has relaunched with fully upgraded equipment and cutting-edge software—ready to deliver fun, high-quality photo booth experiences to events big and small.
